Welcome to Peace Finder. By downloading, accessing, or using the Peace Finder mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Peace Finder, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, Masjid administrators, and others who access or use the App.

2. Account Types and Responsibilities

Peace Finder offers different tiers of access depending on your role within the community:

• Standard Users: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities or actions under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Masjid Administrators (Sadars): Users who apply for and are granted "Sadar" status have the ability to manage specific Masjid profiles, update local congregation information, and transfer administrative rights.
  • As a Sadar, you agree that all information posted regarding your Masjid (including times, announcements, and letterheads) is accurate and authorized by the Masjid's governing committee.
  • Peace Finder reserves the right to revoke Sadar privileges at any time if misuse, unauthorized claiming of a Masjid, or inaccurate reporting is detected.

3. Accuracy of Prayer Times and Data

Peace Finder utilizes highly precise geolocation and topographical elevation data to calculate local Adhan times, alongside standard calculation methods (e.g., University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi).

• Disclaimer of Accuracy: While we strive for maximum precision, astronomical calculations can vary. The prayer and fasting times provided by the App are estimates. Users are encouraged to verify exact local times with their local Masjids or community scholars, particularly for fasting (Sehri/Iftar) during Ramadan.
• Peace Finder and its developers shall not be held liable for any missed prayers or prematurely broken fasts resulting from reliance solely on the App's calculations.

4. Community Features and Conduct

• Acceptable Use: You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, to spam, or to harass other users.

5. User-Generated Content and Indemnification

Users and Masjid Administrators (Sadars) may have the ability to upload images (e.g., verification letterheads), post updates, or submit text. By utilizing these features, you agree to the following strict guidelines:

A. Prohibited Content

You strictly agree not to upload, post, or transmit any content that:

• Is defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, or incites violence.
• Is culturally or religiously offensive, promotes discrimination, or violates general community standards.
• Infringes upon the copyright, trademark, privacy, or intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Contains software viruses, malware, trojans, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or compromise the security and infrastructure of the App.
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or intentionally impersonates another person, Masjid, or legal entity.

B. Disclaimer of Liability for User Content

Peace Finder acts solely as an intermediary technological platform for community connection. We do not actively pre-screen, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of any user-generated content. Peace Finder reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove any content or revoke account access at our sole discretion if we suspect a violation of these Terms.

C. Total Indemnification and Hold Harmless Clause

Under absolutely no circumstances shall Peace Finder, its developers, founders, affiliates, or representatives be held responsible or liable for any claims, damages, lawsuits, or events arising from user misconduct or the uploading of prohibited content.

By using this App, you agree to assume 100% legal, financial, and personal responsibility for the content you upload. You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Peace Finder and its developers from any and all legal consequences, financial losses, liabilities, or third-party claims that result directly or indirectly from your violation of these content rules.

6. Privacy and Data Usage

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. To function correctly, Peace Finder requires access to certain device features:

• Location Services: Required strictly for fetching accurate local prayer times and nearby Masjids.
• Background Activity & Notifications: Required to deliver exact-time Adhan alerts, even when the App is closed.
• You may revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, though it will severely limit the App's core functionality.

7. Account Deletion and Termination

• User Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time via the "Delete Account" feature in the Settings menu. This action is irreversible.
• Termination by Us: We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Peace Finder, its creators, developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mahbubnagar, Telangana.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
